Magneta and Normandie Racing solutions finishers of the Dakar 2026

At Magneta, we are committed to combining performance, innovation, and environmental responsibility. With this in mind, we renewed our support in 2026 for the Normandie Racing Solutions (NRS) team and its hydrogen hybrid truck #915, competing in the legendary Dakar 2026.

This adventure demonstrates that it is possible to push technological boundaries while embracing a more sustainable approach.

A hydrogen hybrid truck racing for a more sustainable Dakar

For several years, the NRS team has taken on the challenge of the nearly 8,000 kilometers of the Dakar with a hydrogen hybrid truck.

The vehicle is equipped with a HydraGen HG-1 unit produced by dynaCERT. About the size of a suitcase, this unit uses distilled water to generate hydrogen through electrolysis. The system enables faster and cleaner fuel combustion, thereby reducing greenhouse gas emissions and diesel consumption.

This ongoing pursuit of eco-responsible innovation echoes Magneta’s commitment to the ecological transition. We are proud to support a team that proves high performance, even in the most demanding environments, can align with a responsible and sustainable approach.

A commitment to solidarity beyond the competition

Beyond the sporting aspect of this challenge, Normandie Racing Solutions has also pledged to support the Association des autistes de Basse-Normandie. Ran exclusively by volunteers, the charity works to raise awareness and support families, professionals, and the general public regarding autism spectrum disorders. The team chose to donate a portion of its sponsorship revenue to the charity and organized several meet-ups with the children supported by the organization, giving them the opportunity to discover the truck and the world of rally raid.

At Magneta, we are commited to supporting local initiatives that promote the values of solidarity and community engagement.
